Due Diligence

Due diligence refers to the process of investigating a business opportunity that an investor must accept in order to assess the risks of the transaction. While such an investigation may be made by legal obligation, the term usually refers to voluntary investigations.

In processes of purchase, sale or merger of companies, in order for the data provided to be validated, a work is carried out to collect documents, analyze them and verify them so that the information can be validated, mitigating as much as possible the risk of decision-making in over inconsistent information. The Service can be performed by companies that are acquiring other companies or by companies interested in seeking investors and want to prepare for an audit.
The current scenario indicates that Mergers and Acquisitions are taking place in companies of different sizes and can be provided to small companies (startups) to large companies that normally position themselves as buyers.
